Harper has the big one coming in hot, so we thought could be better than adding the vibrance that matches her personality to her Cake Smash Session?! It was the best idea ever. With disco balls, flower power, and all the retro you could find. She was ready to have some fun, and why not pop a rocking flamingo to just add to the mix? Presto. She was groovin'.

Have you been thinking about your little ones first birthday and a fun way to celebrate? A cake smash is always a great time. Some of my favorite parts of this experience is creating the theme behind it, if you are wanting to get creative. The actual experience is always a giggle for the whole group. Most times, babies are moving all over to touch all the details that we have added to their session. No problem there! It is always fun to capture those little moments. When picking your cake, my best advice is to make sure that it's sweet to taste so that you find an extra messy baby after it all. You don't always have to do a big cake, even a cupcake can work!
